_basement suite makes you the landlord of low end with the easiest to use bass design instrument for drum & bass music in Ableton we could make, featuring 64 sound presets + 8 macro controls.


We took the approach of a sonic slumlord on this one. We gathered 7 different Ableton instruments and put them all under 1 roof. With each instrument easily controlled by 1 knob, and with some simple macro knob automation to control the timbre and dynamic of each, you’re able to create stunning drum & bass bass-scapes as simply as possible. Blend your basses, throw in some useful effects, and you’ll be living rent free in the deepest of deeps.


While other bass instruments offer endless advanced tweaks and setups, this one flips things upside down with its simplcity and ease-of use when you just need this kind of bass.

_tone deaf means 110 unique drum samples made with contact microphones & a custom drum rack for Ableton, complete with 12 macro controls + 32 kit presets.


The people always need, and always ask for more “percs” - so here’s a huge set of samples and a drum rack for Ableton Live that offers something a little different. Contact microphones offer a unique and more rare way of recording sounds through direct contact, so they pick up direct vibrations instead of acoustic sound energy. This gives the sound a more simple and pure character that’s hard to replicate. It could be described as a very muffled, resonant, full, synthetic, or even very dry and direct sound. 


We recorded actual drums, cymbals, metal, wood, and all sorts of other object that made useful drum or percussion type sounds. We used 3 different types of contact microphones in various configurations to capture these drum samples, and we believe they make up a very different, but very usable percussion kit that will add a new flavour to almost any type of production.


Use our custom drum kit for Ableton, or drop the WAV samples into any software or hardware and use them your own way. The Ableton kit comes with a few different effects we tuned to the kit, and also allows you to shape the sounds in useful ways when playing, programming, or automating these “percs.”

_snare sorcerer is a snare drum designer for Ableton with a twist, with 127 snare samples to seamlessly blend sticks + bodies + tails, then reshape and saturate your spells.


With 127 Subsocial snare drum samples, and over 2 million possible combinations of stick + body + tail, your snares will literally never be the same again. By allowing you to blend the components of individual snare samples together into a new hybrid snare, you’ll have total control over a vast array of snare drum formulas as new catalysts for creativity. Go from liquid drum & bass, to ice cold 80s, to that solid, break your neck style snap  - the choice yours.


Use any of the 128 snare presets provided, or blend your own snare elements together. Feel free to add a little more shape and contour to your creation to distill things further.
