Aspen King has been making big moves as a DJ & producer, so we jumped at the opportunity to chat with her while she was at our studio in North Vancouver. What music manipulates you? Do you really let yourself feel the music? Can you ever have too much bass?


    Aspen makes the music she likes, and she likes the kind of music that makes people want to experience something different. What exactly that different feeling she creates is, depends on when you ask her, but it always gravitates towards that elusive sense of intrigue Aspen seems so adept at sculpting.

      No Calvin is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer out of Vancouver, Canada, and perhaps the most understated person we know when it comes to his craft. The right groove and feel in music that he brings is something that most people take for granted. If you knew him like his friends know him, you'd know that "Hobbs" is his own secret weapon.

        Music is all about keeping time, but we still seem to lose track of it when we’re on our way towards success. Keep time with Kelland as he recounts how crucial it is to live for the moment and appreciate the journey. What will you create today? What will the “future you” remember? What will you lose once you’ve got everything?


        Kelland has been hyper-focused on his career as an artist, producer, and songwriter since he dove into music just a few years back. Playing the FVDED in The Park festival here in Vancouver last month would be a special kind of validation for any producer or DJ, and Kelland is enjoying every precious minute of it. Being able to enjoy your success as an artist is as important as all those sacrifices you make to get there.
