    _strings attached makes strings abstract in Ableton 12. Built from 64 different Tension patches and custom sound design forward effects. Let’s get immaterial with this twisted string instrument.


    Ableton’s physical string modelling instrument, Tension was created in collaboration with Applied Acoustics Systems. We think it can be such a great base for unique sounds in Ableton, and not enough music makers are taking full advantage of it. Previously we released _strung out -  featuring 64 entirely useful Tension presets. This time around we took 64 new presets to alternate dimensions with the addition of a battery of Ableton effects to mold and mutate things to new levels. Our custom Ableton 12 device allows for anything from supremely cinematic to otherworldly overtones and more.


    With only 4 sound control macros, it’s also the easiest to use, but deliciously complicated sounding mood machine around.

    _bass head SSS117




      _bass head brings easy bass amp + cabinet simulation to Ableton 12. A low frequency solution for classic tones featuring 32 presets + 6 simple sound sculpting controls.


      Ableton partnered with Softube to create its stock bass amplifier simulator plug-in, so we’re excited to release a very Subsocial saturation simulator with it. We packaged the pieces of bass amplifier and speaker cabinet simulation in Ableton together with custom Live 12 effects like Roar. We wanted to be able to just load an Ableton device and have great sounding bass with easy to use controls and automation using only stock Ableton effects.


      Don’t play electric bass? Don’t worry, synths and samplers work too!

      _sometimes y SSS115




        _sometimes y takes classic tâlking synth sounds and twists them towards lo-fi. 64 different patchęs for Ableton wrapped up in an easy to use įnstrument device ŵith FX.


        A-E-I-O-U and sometimes y (and supposedly w now) brings old school formant filter goodness with Stock Ableton Standard stüff. We used Ableton’s Analog to keep things old fashioned, and we designed mostly noisier, more abstract sounds tainted with vowel-y goodness. 


        We think these sounds are interesting for bass, textural duties and dirty leads. Hopefully you prove us right.
