_dial rodgers is the little funk guitar for Ableton 12 Suite. 474 samples, 32 presets + 8 easy to groove with sound controls. It’s the simplest way to get clean & classic disco or funk rhythms without a guitar in Ableton.

Simple isn’t always better, but sometimes you just need that chic funk guitar, whether it’s simple one note rhythms peppered with swirly chucks, or shiny little disco chords with the way pedal on blast. Our little funk guitar for Ableton 12 Suite is pure, sample-based simplicity when it comes to playing or programming your next MIDI masterpiece. With 42 individual notes sampled, 3 velocity layers with 3 random round robins for each layer, and an additional modulation wheel controlled funked-up articulation, the instrument feels real and consistently reliable as an always-there-for-you vibe foundation. It’s easy to play and get results without any hassle or complications.

Play it hard, or play it soft while using your Push or keyboard’s modulation control to activate and blend in those pushed plucks when you need them - it doesn’t get much simpler than that. Dial in some of the included classic funk guitar effects with the macro controls. Wah-wah your way through a liquid phaser effect, turn up “le freak” to add extra punch, or tweak the “sheek” control to add shiny stereo octave layers for extra glittery sounds.

We’ve included a demo Ableton project to get you started and playing around. It features a taste of what’s to come from our vocal pack we’re releasing with our friend, indyie.kid. Have a look at the 4 different MIDI parts for the guitars to see how we use the modulation control and macro automation to freak the perfect chic guitar parts.

_80s horror resurrects vintage terrors brought back from the dead courtesy of a 1986 E-mu Emax digital sampler. 136 samples of classic SFX + eerie instruments.

These samples come from an E-Mu official factory sounds floppy disk named, “Jason Part 13” and bring instant low budget 1980s horror movie vibes. From scrapes, to creaks, to strings and percussion effects, the 20 patches on the disk have that nostalgic necrosis you’ve been looking for. We sampled each sound at regular intervals across the keyboard for added patch authenticity.

Both the samples and the Emu Emax sampler were created somewhere between 1981 and 1989. Sample libraries came on floppy disks and have a very "early digital" sound quality. Since the sampler has its own built-in 80s effects, you’ll hear its analogue filters, chorus, phaser, and flanger on some sounds. The way the original presets were made is also very 80s, from the panning, to the wacky pitching of single samples and hardware limitations - and it's all here

Cash is cursed here, but not to worry, these samples are free!

_rubber band brings rubber love to Ableton in the form of a unique sampled bass instrument that's fun to tweak and play.

Check out this video walkthrough of what's inside here:

Sampling a rubber band in tune was harder than we thought. In order to capture very low frequencies and the micro dynamics, we had to get a very low noise microphone, very close to a rubber band that's stretched just enough, and then pluck it very carefully. Most of our time was spent getting just the right plucks to work together in one instrument.

We were surprised at how close it sounded to a real bass instrument. Creating an Ableton instrument that brought more versatility to the samples was a lot of fun. We wanted you to have a few real time controls that feel like you're messing around with an elastic band as you play it, but still be a solid bass instrument that delivers what's necessary.

Bounce back with this bass pack.
